who loves traffic jams? especially during weekends when you're on your way to meet someone and you have been very excited before you left your place.

i really really can't understand how jam can happen on highways.
why? why must there be jams?
whats the point of having new roads built and opening new highways?
whats the point of even creating cars with bigger cc's when they're just going to end up driving at 20km/h anyway?

wah! lagi best!! the motorists are zooming past us drivers thinking we're losers coz we're stuck in this traffic. yay for the motorists!

after about 1 hour of sitting in the car and doing all this nonsense,

Heart wrenching

sorry i haven't been updating since last post. i was kinda having a writer's block. haha!
the video i posted, Teacher Shida Wannabe, was honestly for fun and i didn't even expect it to be so.. i don't know.. accepted? i was kinda ready for the worst. like "ko gila apa minah?", or "you wehdo", or "teacher shida lagi awesome", dan sewaktu dengannya..
i even got my 'biatch' mode on in case i have unpleasant comments! hahaha!
but alhamdulillah, people are ok with it. oh except cutecat100. pfft! =p

i can't just watch these videos and do nothing. i want to help. i just don't know how and i can't afford to go there and do an 'Angelina Jolie' stunt. my heart aches watching these videos, but what change can i bring?
even Angelina Jolie can't fix the problem which lies in the CULTURE of the people there.
i felt like hiring a thousand hypnotists and take them there and hypnotise every men in the country so that they will change.
but that's impossible and of course, not allowed.

we have it so easy here. we have options and choices.
their options are - life or death. survive or give up. own's life or children's life.

wake up people, we're fortunate!

i pray to you Allah swt, please protect the young ones, and give the women a special place in your Heaven, ya Allah. all their pain and sufferings, let it all not be in vain. ya Allah.. please bring justice to them who deserves it.. protect my sisters ya Allah..

honestly i didn't think anyone would've cared about what i wore and stuff. i wanted to be real in terms of choices of clothes, coz well, i want to show that you can be fashionable in any occasion.
i literally wore everything i posted! now you know what my style is like. i am not that feminine, but i'm not a tomboy either. i settle in the middle.
i wear what i'm comfortable in. when i'm comfortable, i am happy. and when i'm happy, i'm confident! oh, i always put the WEATHER as my first priority. if it's hot, wear less layers. if it's cold, well, it never really got cold.. hahaha!! (i told you kan, i sweat a lot..)

HFW 7 - Bye bye HFW, i'm off to buy some groceries.

wuuu.. it's the last day for the loved week of all time! but fret not my dearests, i am positive that this won't stop here. =D

so today's HFW theme is "the Cup of Life" - Running Errands.

everyday is like an errand to me! since i live by myself now, i have to buy food, stock up on groceries and toiletries, wash my clothes, clean my room and the apartment, fill up the petrol, OHHH the list just goes on and on!! hehee!

here, i'm wearing checkered shirt which i bought in Jakarta many years ago, my favourite brown jeans, orange gladiator sandals from CarloRino, mom's old brown sling bag from Bally, shawl tepi jalan and awesome shades i bought in Amsterdam. the hand accessories are my everyday wear. i hardly ever take them off! i told you i love accessories. =D

running errands, i must always wear clothes i'm comfortable in. i'll be walking around and the probability of me sweating while doing my errands is HIGH! so just a simple outfit is favorable. oh oh oh!! I'M A JEANS GIRL! holla!

HFW 6 - I gotta date with the Night

if you know Yeah Yeah Yeahs, then you know what i'm talking about =B
else, it's ok.

i got a date with Dato'! ummm actually i HAD a date with Dato'. these were taken last week when we went to Bukit Tinggi the 1st time, but we missed our chance to wear the kimono. hence, he took me there AGAIN, just so that i got to wear the kimono (as seen on HFW 4)! how sweet is Dato'? =D

here, i was wearing Miss Selfridge long dress inside (it's on sale now!! go grab 'em!), and a chiffon aztec-ish top bought at a street market, red sling bag from Primark, red pumps from Cotton On (forgive me, but i do love my red pumps!), shawl from tepi jalan, rings and headband from Forever 21.

HFW 5 - Alhamdulillah, it's Friday!! =D

so today's theme is Weekend Wear, and on weekends, i usually hang out with my family!

my family and i always have dinner together on weekends, so last weekend, we had ours at the Curve. during dinner, we update each other about our lives, make fun of each other, piss each other off, talk about random stuff, etc etc. oh, and we usually eat for about 15mins. yes, we are fast eaters. =p

so i wore a simple salmon coloured inner, a lace button-down shirt i wore as cardigan, navy blue maxi skirt, vintage sling bag, and for shoes, i wore oxford flats!

meet Mr.Diggles! he's my brother's pet hedgehog. incredibly cute and prickly, and he's sooo hyper! =D

anyway, i really like how that turquiose pendant pops out from the blahhness of my attire. it matches with the hues in my hijab too. it's a simple combination (like all my other clothes for the past 4 days), but it's just the way i like it. i am all about simplicity and basic wear.
that's why i love accessories! they can just add that extra attitude into your look. =D

 that's really it about my outfit! hope you like it and maybe get inspired for the next time you go out with your family or friends on your weekend!

HFW 4 - Vacation is what i WANT!!

kalau boleh nak vacation everyday! but alas.. we have to make ends meet and belanja family at the end of the month.
so today's theme is VACATIONNNN! and last weekend i did have a little vacation with my sayang.

very basic, yes i know, but it's comfortable. travelling to a destination for a vacation must be comfortable, in my opinion, yet still presentable for the public and specially the ones you're going with. in my case, i went to Bukit Tinggi with my dearest. so i wanted to look good for him and feel the satisfaction when he likes it. hehe! who doesn't? he may not say it to my face like "weyhhh, cantik dowh baju you! where did you buy it from?" (he doesn't even sound like that! just exaggerating =p) but when he appreciates the effort, i feel joy! =D

oh kejap kejap! wanna know something embarrassing tak? ok i was driving yesterday from serdang to damansara (at around 9pm) and at the tol, i turned the lights in my car on coz i couldn't see the change kan. tengah nak korek 60 cents ni! so after the toll, i forgot to turn it off! until i reached home!! the embarrassing part was, I WAS HEAD BANGING THE WHOLE WAY WHILE SINGING TO THE SONGS ON MY CD! lagu nak Incubus and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.. memang goyang la kereta. dah la TGH JAM!! it was literally at stand still! omg malu la.. kalau orang kat kete sebelah nampak i head banging, apa tak diorang ingat i bangang. haihhh.. =\
and i was in my hijab and all.. how sweet (insert sarcasm here)! i even did some dance moves. aihh!! if i was looking at myself, i would think i'm mental!

this dark turquiose/teal colour is soo pretty! it's actually my bridesmaid kurung i wore for my cousin's wedding. who says you can't wear a fancy schmancy kurung on Raya?

i wore this black shawl because i thought it would contrast with the baju, hence shows off my facial features. my face ni kecik but the features besar! hehe!!

okay the tak best part about this kurung is that it creases easily. it's so obvious but still you can't deny it's a nice pair of kurung. hehe! for casual or for formal, boleh jeee! =D
i pakai ni simple simple je. takde la versace or juicy couture. setakat kain beli kat kamdar and beading cousin buatkan. =)

sorry darlings sebab lama tak update! i have been busy with work and preparing for HFW. oh and i have made a video! ok itu nanti la. heheee.. u all ni.. silap silap, i vlog je terus since you all liked it. i couldn't believe how many of you watched it! kalau u suka, maka saya suka =D

so today's theme for HFW is "Money on My Mind", or simply work wear. since i am already working, this is what i wore la to work once upon a day.

so i was wearing a vintage top, which i bought at Bijou Bazaar. so sad its not around anymore!! kalau tak, i used to go there everytime!! cheap and cool stuff can be found easily. huuuu.. rindu bazaar.. oh and i was also wearing a high waist flare slacks from Forever 21, which i got during Sale. never EVER underestimate sale items! haha! oh of course, for shoes, i was wearing wedges from Vincci, given by my sayang. sweet kan dia? shoes are girl's best friend! =B

see the effects of flare pants? it will make your legs look longer!!

for all shawties in ze house, get a pair of high waist flare pants! it's definitely a plus for your wardrobe! hehehee.. =D

i know it's simple. takde la macam "WOWWWW COOL SIOT BAJU MINAHH NIIIIIIII!", but i am an engineer. keje pun naik turun production site, pegang benda2 berminyak and going out and about, etc etc. i just cant find myself ever dressing up to kill or to impress coz it's just not worth it! i pakai like this pun kira melawa gila kot. my colleagues only wear shirt and jeans! hahaha!

now on a different note!

Belle got the story covered here! they entered a band competition called Malaysian Breakout Showcase held at Aswara, KL.

Alhamdulillah, they WON!! memang murah rezeki =D

despite the horrible incidents, like the guitar takde bunyi, the bass amp koyak, the drum pedal tercabut (and the drummer had to kick the bass drum throughout their performance!) on their performance, they still rocked it, and they were awesome!

i would like to add that you should wear products that suits your skin. not necessarily the exact same as mine.
although, if you have serious case of acne, i strongly suggest Clinelle because it's a dermatological product. i've used the cleanser before this, and it worked! however!! once your acne subsides, change your cleanser to something mild. you don't want to menghakis kan your skin and make it more sensitive than evaaa!
okay? meh kita lompat sama sama. tengok sape lompat lagi tinggi. confirm it'll be me. hahahaha! sorry lari topic. told you i'm nervous!

oh oh! and kalau u think "omg, spiking gila minachi ni!!", ampun ya! i kalau dalam presenting or blogging mode, my english macam flowrate dia tinggi lebih than BM. so, sorry ek!!!

i cheated.

i'm sorry.. i tried to resist!

but how can i??  i'm only human.. a girl with girly feelings. a sucker for shoes and accessories. padahal takde kena mengena pun. but so what..

you see, the other night, i had dinner with my family. he was sitting at the table behind ours, and him and me were facing each other.
when i entered the restaurant, i already saw him actually, but i just kept my cool. i didn't want to succumb.

pastu, lahai.. duduk nak face each other lak kan. memang lemah la.

so masa i was eating, i saw him looking at me when i looked at him. pastu dia sengih sengih.

i sumpah i tak sengaja tersengih balik!

cepat cepat i tengok my mom and talked to her, but all the while my attention was at him.
he kept smiling at me!!
and because he kept smiling at me, i pun smile back la. to return the favour kan.
amboi!!! makin lebar ok his smile became!
and i couldn't help it. i smiled tunjuk gigi. SENYUM COLGATE OK!!

apa jenis manusia la saya ni.. i just can't help it! i smiled back to his adorable smile, and i felt soooo happy inside, i felt like hugging him, like i want to caress him!

and then my parents who sat opposite of me saw me smiling, and they turned around.
they looked at him.

they both said "awwwww!!! comelnya!!!!"
