Budak hingusan bajet cool tapi tak cool langsung

years ago, back when OU (One Utama) was still on one wing, i was a cute lanky pengawas from SMKDU. yeah you bettah be proud of me okeyh SMKDU!

anyway, then, on some weekends i would meet up with my friends there and we walk around as if we're cool or something padahal budak hingusan with greasy hair and no sense of style and of course, no DSLRs or cameras. our phones were merely nokia 3310 with polyphonic ringtones. tu pun macam bajet awesome gila.
muahahaha!! kelakar lak reminiscing my old self!

so this one fine Sunday, my friends and i did everything. we went window shopping, watched a movie, we ate, we walked, we laughed, etc etc. we usually take the whole day to chill out. which was weird, now i think about it.. OU was small then.. what da heck did we really do??
hmm..

my mom had to pick me up, usually. (thanks mom!)
and when my mom reaches the taxi stand, where i always have to meet her at, she would call and tell me as annoyed as she could possibly sound
"Ena, mama kat sini dah. cepat!"
"ok jap jap!"
"heishhh! banyak kete la! cepat!!"

with that tone of urgency and annoyance, i would always feel guilty thus i would quickly bid my goodbyes and dash asap to the taxi stand, which is at the end of the world. ok hyperbola. it's far la.

back to this one fine Sunday! after getting The Call, i was at the taxi stand looking for mom's car.
when i found it, i immediately ran towards it, opened the door, sat down, and closed the door.

then i looked at my mom.

except she wasn't my mom.
it was a chinese lady and she looked as confused as i was.

i asked her
"saya salah kereta ah?"
to which she answered with a nod with her brows raised in amazement. i think she was amazed at how i could still stay in her car and asked her a question. i was amazed too!

so i said sorry like a million times while opening the door, climbing out of the car and closed the door.
i hope she got the point. that i was sorry.

so i looked for my mom's ACTUAL car. when spotted, i ran towards it like crazy, with a crazy grin on my face (because laughing in public wasn't cool then), and when i was in the car, my mom was already laughing like crazy!
we both just laughed and laughed about it!

so yeah!

since, i always check the plate numbers before entering a car. or at least get eye contact with someone familiar in the car before i start hijacking god-knows-who's car.

teeeheee!!
peace!
